BMI Calculator is a small program that can calculate your Body Mass Index or BMI. Just enter your weight and height and it will calculate your BMI and body type. The way it calculates the BMI and body type is explained in the ReadMe file. Its completely portable. Just extract and run.

User can enter weight in kilograms or pounds and height in centimeters or feet & inches.
Besides calculating the BMI, it also shows the body type in UNDERWEIGHT, NORMAL, OVERWEIGHT, OBESE & VERY OBESE with the ideal range of weight for the same height.
Its completely portable. No need to install. Carry it with you in your USB stick.
Program size is under 10 KB.

A few words about BMI

You can use Body Mass Index to find out if you've a healthy weight for your height. If you know your height and weight, you can work out which weight range you're in.

The BMI value in this utility is calculated using the following scheme:

Body Mass Index (BMI) = Weight (KGS) / ( Height (METER) ) ^ 2

Body type is found out using:

* If your BMI is less than 18.4 you are underweight for your height.
* If your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9 you're an ideal weight for your height.
* If your BMI is between 25 and 29.9 you're over the ideal weight for your height.
* If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9 you're obese.
* If your BMI is over 40 you're very obese.
